What is Mediation?
Mediation is a process of resolving disputes using the skills of a qualified neutral third party [the mediator] to act as a guide to assist those in disagreement towards a solution to their dispute that they can live with. The mediator does not take sides or make judgments, he or she is there to facilitate not judge who is right or who is wrong. The mediator acts as an imaginative problem solver, thinking outside the square to assist those too entrenched to come to agreement for themselves.
Mediation is very much an accommodation, allowing parties to express their real issues, not just their stated ones. The mediator helps those involved to explore alternatives. It is more than 80% successful; is quick and cost effective. Above all, the process is entirely confidential. Participation is voluntary and the outcome determined by the parties themselves. It enables business relationships to continue and minimises disruption.
Employment and Workplace Mediation are specialised areas within the broad umbrella of Commercial Mediation. Resolve 2 Mediate provides effective Commercial; Employment and Workplace Mediation.
